What an indelible, apt comparison to start your blog. As someone just getting acquainted with EMC (prepping for a presentation to an EMC group in Santa Clara Sept 8th) and a former WSj reporter I'm impressed. You're the kind of person we journalists hope we are going to be interviewing - making a complex story understandable and interesting

Hi Kare

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I do try to keep things interesting and engaging as best as I can. Best of luck with the EMC group!

Chuck has been with EMC for 17 years, most of them great.

He enjoys speaking to customer and industry audiences about a variety of technology topics, and -- of course -- enjoys blogging.

He lives in Holliston, MA with his wife, three kids and four dogs when he's not travelling. In his spare time, Chuck is working on his second career as an aging rock musician.

Warning: do not buy him a drink when there is a piano nearby.
