You Really Should Go To EMC World. Really.

No, this is not another shameless pitch to attend yet-another-vendor show.

This is EMC World, folks. 

If you've been before, you know the drill: a remarkable assemblage of passionate technology people in a largely marketing-free zone.  From storage to virtualization to orchestration to content management to security to private cloud and vBlocks -- it's gonna be all there at EMC World.

The reason I'm gently suggesting you make the effort is pretty simple: I was in a meeting where we were reviewing all the announcements and technology previews that were going to be live at the show, and it was a lot. 

Like in "you probably want to be there if you can".  

Not to mention that many of our partners are planning some special announcements and technology demonstrations as well :-)

Now, I can't spill all the beans here -- what would be the fun in that? -- but I can say that if you're a regular reader of this blog, this is the sort of show you want to make every effort to attend.  And if you can't attend, watch for the real-time feeds -- there's going to be a lot to track.

Trust me on this.
