OK, so I know how to keep a secret, but -- hey -- once something is on the internet, it's fair game, isn't it?
Storagezilla was the first one to twig to the public viewing (sometimes I don't think he ever sleeps), but I'll offer this link and this other one.
As soon as we're ready for a more public discussion, I'll be glad to explain what this is all about. And, trust me, it's pretty darn cool.
In the meantime, consider it a mildly-interesting Sudoku puzzle ;-)

The timing of this is perfect for me personally. Apple's new release of OS X (Leopard) includes Time Machine, a personal back-up/versioning system that has Mac users buying external storage like there's no tomorrow.
I do full disk-image bootable back-ups weekly for emergencies, but Time Machine allows me to have a loose approach to versioning and ull selected files when I need them.
The whole thing as made me rethink what I'd like to do with my digital assets at home. It's probably time to have a central repository for all the music, photos, and two career's worth of work (mine and my wife's).
I've been looking at NAS, but the cost of >1TB storage has been outside of what I've been willing to pay, so far anyways. I'm curious to see how this will compete: based on cost, or features?

Interesting, just hope they've included a hardware watchdog to reset the box when windows crashes ;)

Now Barry, what makes you think that there's Windows on it?

The fact that it supports Active Directory - since Redmond don't support any non Microsoft client attaching to AD ...
