I just want to second Chuck's assertion that VMware has been running as an independent entity and making themselves available to EMC's competitors for cooperative initiatives.

It is a bit odd to see one-way affection in the press. Did somebody run this as a story? I guess my questions would be more for the press than for Netapp. I know trade press journalism doesn't have the same kind of vetting capabilities and responsibilities as the news media, but...... I mean if they don't make an effort then who does?

We know we can't trust bloggers for objectivity - even those independent types who advertise themselves as such - tend to have as much bias as those of us blogging on behalf of our employers.
