Couldn't have put it better myself Chuck - but then you have been at this longer than me :)

Chuck Hollis

Thanks for the kind thoughts.

I will probably regret saying so, but I want to encourage you to do more of this. You have a lot to say, and you say it pretty well.

I'd much rather read and respond to your material than, say, other IBM bloggers.

Barry Whyte

I'll take that as a compliment as it was intended Chuck. I'm only down at around 200 hits a day!

I should get the 3rd installment of my part-work up - caching and performance - I expect there to be many comments and thoughts - please do share - its all about providing food for thought for our respective, and shared, customers - afterall none of us would be here if it weren't for them.

Chuck has been with EMC for 13 years, most of them pretty good.

He enjoys speaking to customer and industry audiences about a variety of technology topics, and -- of course -- enjoys blogging.

He lives in Holliston, MA with his wife, three kids and three dogs when he's not travelling. Chuck enjoys piano, mountain biking, boating and skiing -- in that order.

Warning: do not buy him a drink when there is a piano nearby.

  • Frequency of Updates
I try and write something new 1-2 times per week; less if I'm travelling, more if I'm in the office. Hopefully you'll find the frequency about right!
  • Comments and Feedback
I'm going to be approving comments before they get posted here. Any information you can share about who you are, how to contact you, what you do for a living, etc. would very much be appreciated.
